Ulysse Nardin Executive Dual Time GMT Lady (Ref. 246-10-3/391)
The legendary Swiss watch Manufacture has recently updated its line of GMT watches with a beautiful Ulysse Nardin Dual Time Executive Lady (Ref. 246-10-3/391) timepiece. Featuring the usual mother-of-pearl dial, rose gold body and parts, as well as a small deposit of tiny diamonds that decorate its oversized Roman numerals and the setting crown, the timekeeper adds to the mix a snow-white bezel, which is made from polished, extremely scratch-resistant ceramic material.
The new member of the family features a nicely crafted 40 mm rose gold case with white ceramic bezel.
It is powered by the same UN-24 automatic caliber which is based on the ETA 2892-A2 movement and also animates their last year’s Ulysse Nardin Executive Dual Time GMT Men’s Watch.
Its gorgeous mother of pearl dial features a second time zone display at 9 o’clock.
Sporting their patented quickset system, the GMT indicator can be set right in a matter of seconds by simply pressing a pair of ceramic push-pieces located on the case of the watch at 4 and 10 o’clock.
The second time display window is counterweighted by a big date aperture at 2 o’clock.
Of course the oversized small-seconds counter at 6 o’clock in its formidable rose gold framing visually dominates the whole layout, perhaps, taking too much attention to itself.
Diamond-set Roman numerals that are supported by the same precious stones decorating the screw-down security crown, are also a very nice touch.
The watch is delivered either on a white rubber band with folding buckle or, preferably, on a white alligator leather strap.
As usual, the timekeeper’s single problem is its price. Offered at some $22,000, the new Ulysse Nardin Executive Dual Time GMT Lady (Ref. 246-10-3/391) will be out of reach for the overwhelming majority of ladies dreaming about this kind of thing.
