Bulgari Endurer Chronosprint Chronograph Automatic (Ref. BRE56BSVDCHS)

This sporty Bulgari Endurer Chronosprint (Ref. BRE56BSVDCHS) automatic chronograph is among the latest creations of the Swiss-based watchmaking house Daniel Roth that was acquired by Bulgari about a dozen years ago and was pretty recently completely absorbed by the Italian brand. Officially presented to the world early this year at the Baselworld 2012 event, the refreshed timekeeper sports the same movement and heroically proportioned body, but now features a slightly different finish to its dial.

Lehmann-Schramberg Intemporal Zeigerdatum (Pointer Date) Automatic

For its first appearance at this year’s Baselworld 2012 trade show, the young German watchmaker has presented a number of new timekeepers that belong to their elegant Intemporal collection. Each model has its own good points, but the Lehmann-Schramberg Intemporal Zeigerdatum (Pointer Date) wrist watch seems to offer the most balanced (i.e. it is not over-expensive and is not over-sophisticated) combination of features and a pretty remarkable design.

Bremont Victory Chronograph Automatic

The fresh Bremont Victory Chronograph automatic wrist watch that was officially presented early last month during the Baselworld 2012 trade show belongs to a new (and still quite rare) breed of timekeepers that are powered by the relatively new La Joux-Perret 8310 ebauche. Designed and made in Switzerland, this movement offers not only adequate power reserve, but also brings you a flashy (and irresistibly vintage) dial layout with a pair of retrograde displays that look like wings of a beautiful butterfly.

Patek Philippe Ladies First Perpetual Calendar Automatic (Ref. 7140)

With the new Patek Philippe Ladies First Perpetual Calendar (Ref. 7140) automatic wrist watch, the legendary Swiss-based Manufacture gracefully fills the gaping hole in its line of ladies “complication” timekeepers that includes chronographs, world timers and even GMT watches, but, for some unknown reason, lacked a real perpetual calendar model.

Zenith Pilot Doublematic World Timer Automatic (Ref. 03.2400.4046/21.C721)

It looks like the year 2012 will be remembered by many as the year of “world timers”. Right after the gorgeous Breitling Transocean Chronograph Unitime, somewhat ascetic IWC Pilot’s Watch Worldtimer, and the special edition Bremont World Timer ALT1 Automatic UTC, the Swiss watchmaker offers its new Zenith Pilot Doublematic family of watches that are available both in stainless steel (Ref. 03.2400.4046/21.C721, which is reviewed here) and more expensive 18-carat rose gold bodies. Of course, it was revealed a couple weeks ago during the Baselworld 2012 event.

Omega Spacemaster Z-33 Analog Digital Flight Computer

It’s been years since Omega discontinued its (almost) legendary Speedmaster Professional X-33 digital analog watch that directly competed against a similar model from Breitling. Finally, the Swiss watchmaker, which is mostly known for its diving timekeepers, has presented a totally reworked version of the piece. Called Omega Spacemaster Z-33 and featuring stunning (although somewhat controversial) design, the new quartz-powered flight computer clearly belongs to the “love it or hate it” category. It was first demonstrated in flesh earlier this month during Baselworld 2012 event.

DeWitt Twenty-8-Eight Seconde Retrograde Automatic (Ref. T8.SR.001)

If you keep a close eye on the young Swiss watchmaker, you probably remember the stately DeWitt Academia Seconde Retrograde Serenity model that was revealed around three years ago. This new DeWitt Twenty-8-Eight Seconde Retrograde (Ref. T8.SR.001) automatic watch that the company presented during the Baselworld 2012 show, is basically the same timekeeper, which is now presented in slimmer, more art-deco-style body. The new timekeeper features an outstanding combination of rose gold and micro-blasted titanium: a new alloy that was originally created for aerospace applications and is ten times harder than standard Grade 5 titanium.
