Breitling Transocean Chronograph GMT Limited Edition

It keeps getting better. Breitling has just released a PR blurb regarding its Transocean series of classic-styled wrist watches. Equipped with their relatively fresh in-house chronograph movement, the new 2013 Breitling Transocean Chronograph GMT adds second time zone functionality to the elegant collection.

Alpina Extreme Diver 300 Automatic Chronograph

Back in 2012, Alpina has presented its rugged-looking Alpina Extreme Diver 300 Automatic three-hander. For this year, the Swiss-based brand updated the collection with a chronograph version of the watch predictably calling it “Alpina Extreme Diver 300 Automatic Chronograph“. Although the function is clearly superfluous even for an amateur diver (I can’t really imagine a guy going underwater without an electronic diving computer), the mechanical movement that powers it is based on a legendary work-horse, which is known for its bullet-proof reliability and adequate accuracy.

Victorinox Swiss Army Chrono Classic 1/100 Chronograph

Mostly known for its rather uninspiring design language, the company, which is usually associated with highly durable and versatile (and also quite expensive) Swiss Army knives, has finally produced an item worthy of a long second glance. Surprisingly, this new quartz-powered Victorinox Swiss Army Chrono Classic 1/100 chronograph features a skeletonized dial with a nice-looking guilloched plate covering its large date display.

Polar RC3 GPS Tour de France Training Computer

Back in April, the Kempele, Finland-based electronics manufacturer Polar Electric has updated its popular line of training computers with a new version of the well-known RC3 GPS model. Called Polar RC3 GPS Tour de France, the refreshed device, which is primarily targeted at cyclists, adds real-time GPS-based altitude information to its extensive list of functions. If you are lucky enough to live in a mountainous area near the Mediterranean Sea, the new feature may be especially useful for building that perfect training program.

Tissot T-Race Touch Analog-Digital Chronograph

For the last Baselworld 2013 event that ended on Thursday, the Swiss entry-luxury brand Tissot has updated its range of analog-digital chronograph watches. Compared to earlier iterations of the model, this new Tissot T-Race Touch looks a lot more interesting and, well, even expensive. However, I am still not sure whether the actual production versions of the watch will look as good as the heavily photoshopped image on the promotional photo that you can see right after the jump.

Concord Saratoga Alarm Chronograph (Ref. 0320219)

The new Concord Saratoga Chronograph (Ref. 0320219) watch makes somewhat dubious impression. It certainly does look expensive and very advanced, but is powered by a quartz movement, although from this brand one could expect nothing but a high-tech mechanical caliber.

Eberhard & Co. Chrono4 Geant Full Injection Limited Edition (Ref. 31062)

Eberhard & Co. has first presented this watch around two years ago. Featuring a titanium case, the Eberhard & Co Chrono 4 Geant Edition Limitee Titane was almost as light as a feather, but I suspect that the choice of the metal was just not right for a huge sporty watch that looks like a tank or a star destroyer, but is highly prone to dents and scratches. To correct their mistakes, the guys have created a limited edition Eberhard & Co. Chrono4 Geant Full Injection (Ref. 31062) that doesn’t just look tough. It IS tough.

Blancpain Chronographe Grande Date Automatic (Ref. 3626-2954-58A)

Set to be presented in flesh during the upcoming Baselworld 2013 show, the new Blancpain Chronographe Grande Date (Ref. 3626-2954-58A) automatic timekeeper seems to be very similar in styling to the lovely Blancpain Quantieme Retrograde ladies watch that was first revealed less than half a year ago.

Saint Honore Trocadero Chronograph

Available both in stainless steel and in rose gold PVD versions, this new Saint Honore Trocadero Chronograph could be a timepiece of choice for a person searching for a classic-styled “Swiss made” chronograph watch on a very tight budget. And never mind its quartz movement: it just works.

Breitling for Bentley Light Body Midnight Carbon Chronograph

The new Breitling for Bentley Light Body Midnight Carbon Chronograph watch seems to follow in the footsteps of the grim Breitling for Bentley Barnato 42 Midnight Carbon Chronograph that was revealed in September, 2012. However, compared to the first version, this variety of the watch comes in a larger body and features more elaborate (also, slightly busier) dial with Breitling’s signature 30-seconds chronograph display.

Limited to just 1000 pieces, the watch will be revealed during the Baselworld 2013 trade show.
