The Swiss watchmakers have devoted their new Oris BC4 RHFS Limited Edition (ref. 674 7616 4284 Set) automatic chronograph watch to the 4e Régiment d’Hélicoptères des Forces Spéciales (4th Special Forces Helicopter Regiment) that was established in August, 2009 and is now based in Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Despite being a “pilot’s watch” (well, it is not a B-Uhr, but it is still styled like a plane’s instrument gauge,) the new BC4 RHFS is presented in a comparatively compact body and is equipped with a natural-born chronograph movement.
The Oris Williams F1 Team Day Date model has been here for a while and this year the Swiss watch brand has offered a new, refreshed version of the time measuring device, which is inspired by the high-revving world of professional motor sports.
The new Oris ProDiver Chronograph watch is offered in a huge 51 mm x 22 mm stainless steel body and has a water resistance rating of 1000 meters, so you can easily use it both as a diving tool and a self-defense weapon.
Revealed in the end of January, 2009, this Oris Rectangular Bob Dylan limited edition automatic wrist watch is not an all-new model, but is simply a slightly refreshed version of the Oris Rectangular Date line that was introduced last year. However, with its 37.80 mm x 39.00 mm rectangular case, the timepiece is considerably larger and, for some reason, is powered by a different movement.
It looks like the new member of the ultra-large Oris Regulateur family is not a child of the marketing department but is indeed a professional diver’s timepiece.
