Fortis B-42 Stratoliner Chronograph Limited Edition (Ref. 665.13.19)

The Swiss watch brand has revealed a blingy version of its popular B-42 pilot`s watch. Called Fortis B-42 Stratoliner Chronograph Limited Edition (Ref. 665.13.19,) the watch comes in a medium-sized black PVD-coated stainless steel case and features lots of 18-carat rose gold elements both on its dial, case and even on the fixed bezel with the inevitable tachymeter scale.

Featuring an impressive, vintage-styled design of its dial, the new chronograph comes in an oversized stainless steel body, which is a little too big to my taste, but still looks great.

The new Archimede Arcadia Chronograph watch is a nice addition to the line of dressy timepieces from the German watchmaker. Offering a nicely proportioned, slightly oversized stainless steel body and a choice of colors ofr its Portuguese-style dial, the timekeeper seems to be reasonably priced for a German-made watch powered by an “Elabore”-grade Swiss movement.

Oris BC4 RHFS Limited Edition (ref. 674 7616 4284 Set)

The Swiss watchmakers have devoted their new Oris BC4 RHFS Limited Edition (ref. 674 7616 4284 Set) automatic chronograph watch to the 4e Régiment d’Hélicoptères des Forces Spéciales (4th Special Forces Helicopter Regiment) that was established in August, 2009 and is now based in Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Despite being a “pilot’s watch” (well, it is not a B-Uhr, but it is still styled like a plane’s instrument gauge,) the new BC4 RHFS is presented in a comparatively compact body and is equipped with a natural-born chronograph movement.
