The original Chronomat B01, the one equipped with Breitling’s new, totally in-house B01 automatic column-wheel chronograph movement, was first revealed in September 2009. Recently, the Swiss watchmaker has revealed a limited-edition version of the model. While being powered by the same self-winding caliber and sporting the same massive-looking body, it offers you a more interesting combination of colors, as well as a revised case back cover.

TAG Heuer 300 SLR Caliber 1887 Chronograph
TAG Heuer will soon start selling its limited-edition 300 SLR Caliber 1887 (ref. CAR2112.FC6267) chronograph. While many currently available “sport” chronos are sold in larger-than-life, heavier-than-sin bodies, this new TAG comes packed into a medium-sized stainless steel case that makes you remember the blessed 1970s when rock was hard and cars were deadly.
Oris BC4 RHFS Limited Edition (ref. 674 7616 4284 Set)
Oris has devoted the 2010 limited-edition BC4 RHFS (ref. 674 7616 4284 Set) chronograph to the 4e Régiment d’Hélicoptères des Forces Spéciales (4th Special Forces Helicopter Regiment) that was established in August, 2009 and is now based in Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Despite being an “aviator” (well, it is not your classic B-Uhr, but it is still styled like a plane’s instrument gauge,) the new BC4 RHFS is presented in a comparatively compact body and is equipped with a natural-born chronograph movement.
Reliable and Precise: the Bell & Ross Vintage Original BR 126 Black Officer Chronograph
Being biased towards chronographs (at least, when it comes to so-called ‘aviators’,) I must admit that I am almost in love with this mirror-polished Bell & Ross Vintage Original BR 126 Officer Chronograph. Offered in a refined mid-sized body that is inspired by pilot’s watches of the pre-WWII era, this iteration of the BR 126 model brings you a convincing combination of a relatively clean, easy-to-read dial and a slightly modified version of a reliable and precise Swiss-made automatic movement.
Seiko Ananta Spring Drive Moon Phase
During the Baselworld 2010 trade show, Seiko introduced one of the most brilliant members of the Ananta series: the Ananta Spring Drive Moon Phase (ref. SNR023). Although coming with virtually no decoration that we usually expect from a European brand, the new timepiece looks as refined as a ceremonial Tachi sword.
Perrelet Big Central Moonphase in Titanium A5000/2
The last year’s Perrelet Big Central Moonphase is now reintroduced in titanium as (ref. A5000/2) model. Resurrected only six years ago, when the brand was sold to Miguel Rodriguez of the Festina Group, Perrelet is doing its best to reestablish itself as a haute horlogerie brand.
