The Chr. Ward Makaira Pro 500 (Ref. C11-MAK-SKWSI) diver belongs to the latter breed of timekeepers that an enthusiast can easily wear without losing the tiniest bit of their self-respect.

The new iteration of the affordable, yet nicely designed Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master 500 family was announced back in March 2012. Rated for an impressive depth of 500 meters, recently these timekeepers started to appear in online shops around the world. Available with quartz and self-winding mechanical movements, the watch is offered in a unisex 38 mm and a more masculine 43 mm body, which is the best choice for a budget-conscious customer.
Oris Aquis Titan Chronograph Diver (674 7655 7253)
Supplied in a huge (as a matter of fact, it measures the whole 46 millimeters in diameter!) titanium body, this gorgeous Oris Aquis Titan Chronograph (Ref. 674 7655 7253) offers you everything that you can expect from this kind of a timekeeper: an impressive water resistance rating, a bullet-proof self-winding movement, and an easily recognizable, iconic design. The whole nine yards, so to say. The only thing that may scare a number of people a way is, perhaps, the recommended minimum retail price of almost $4000 USD, although it still seems justified to yours truly.
ETA 7750-Based Breitling SuperOcean Chronograph II
Although the revised Breitling SuperOcean Chronograph II doesn't look as dramatic as the 2009 SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph 125th Anniversary, the new luxury diver is more in line with their current model range.

First offered around a year ago, the quartz-powered Breitling Colt 33 diver (sic!) gets updated for this year with a wide choice of straps that are crafted from Sahara leather: a natural material that is easy to recognize on first sight thanks to the numerous "dunes" that are embossed on its surface.
