Dubey & Schaldenbrand
Although sharing its tonneau-style shape and proportions with their recent Grand Dome DT Vintage 1946 automatic chronograph, the new Dubey & Schaldenbrand Dome GMT (ref. 4350) is considerably smaller, which makes it not only more elegant, but also a lot more wearable not only because of the smaller size that allows the gadget to fit nicely even a narrow wrist, but also thanks to less intimidating weight that doesn’t try to constantly remind you of a metal monster clinging to your arm.
The 2012 Dubey & Schaldenbrand Grand Dome DT Vintage 1946 chronograph is basically a refinished version of the 2011 D&S Grand Dome DT (ref. GDOM-ST-BKS-LS) model that was first revealed a year earlier. However, the refreshed version is equipped with an even more appealing vintage-styled dial with almost the same set of vertically aligned sub-dials. While the original with its glossy and carbon-fiber-style surfaces was more high-tech, the new version has a certain Patek Philippe aura about it.
The new Dubey & Schaldenbrand Grand Shar DB (ref. GSAR-ST-BKW-LS) chronograph that the Swiss-based watchmaker is going to pull the proverbial wraps off during the upcoming Baselworld 2011 trade show offers a time-proven Swiss-made automatic movement in a mildly oversized, yet ergonomically shaped case.
