This year JLC has updated its Perpetual Calendar collection with the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days Perpetual 40 (ref. Q1612520). Now available in an 18-karat rose gold case and still featuring the same sophisticated, slightly off-white dial with lots of sub-dials and other indicators, the timekeeper still makes a strong impression and maybe an interesting choice for a person looking for a dressy “complication” watch.
The new Piaget Limelight Dancing Light (Ref. G0A36157) is offered in an elegant mix of rose gold and diamonds. It also delivers a simple, yet entertaining and playful complication that doesn’t enhance the timekeeper’s functionality, but makes it even more pleasant to look at.
It took the Swiss watchmaker almost a year to present a refreshed version of its breathtaking (pardon the cliche, but I mean it) Ladymatic DeVille. Now sold as Omega Ladymatic DeVille ref. 4184.108.40.206.63.001, the timekeeper offers an even more balanced mix of colors and textures with its perfectly executed dial, brushed and polished case, and an in-house self-winding movement of the high-grade sort that is woefully rare to find in timepieces designed for ladies.
The new Zenith Captain Winsor Annual Calendar Chronograph Automatic from the legendary Swiss manufacture comes equipped with an unusual, although somewhat awkward, annual calendar complication courtesy of their in-house El Primero caliber.
The new Chopard Jacky Ickx Edition V Chronograph will be issued as a limited edition model that is going to be available either in stainless steel, or in much more expensive (but also a lot more imposing) rose gold body. This is the fifth time that the Swiss watchmaker updates its 24 Hours of Le Mans-inspired Jacky Ickx collection.
The new Ball Trainmaster One Hundred Twenty (Ref. NM2888D-PG-LJ-GYGO) is not just a dressy accessory. It has a piece of history in its name.
Corum, a brand that is mostly known for its Admiral’s Cup line of exaggeratedly sporty timekeepers has recently introduced a gorgeous limited-edition Corum Grand Precis (refs. 162.153.55/0001 BA47 & 162.153.59/0001 BA48) that pays homage to the vintage 1957 model of the same name. Looking unexpectedly subtle, the new dressy wristwatch nevertheless somehow managed to preserve the core of the brand’s DNA, mainly thanks to the way its laconic dial is decorated.
The Swiss-based maker of elite watches has recently announced a more affordable Adamavi line of dressy timekeepers that are powered by inexpensive automatic and even quartz calibers but presented in precious rose gold cases. Among them, is the new Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi (Ref. 00.10307.03.16.01).
The Swiss watchmaker will soon start selling its limited edition Milus Heritage Snow Star (ref. HKIT402) offered in an elegant rose gold case with a pair of hideous cufflinks.
The entry-level Swiss watchmaking brand has recently updated its Hampton collection of rectangular timepieces. Among the new set of models is the hand-wound Baume & Mercier Hampton Small Seconds (ref. MOA10033 aka 10033). It is presented in a slim rose gold body that measures less than eleven millimeters from nicely curved top to flat bottom.
