Claimed to be inspired by the famous district in the center of Paris near the Eiffel Tower, the new Saint Honore Trocadero Automatic Open Dial (ref. 880020 1NRN) is a nicely decorated, yet somewhat understated timekeeper that, while being powered by a completely unimpressive, mass-produced movement and featuring limited functionality, still brings you an interesting, even pleasant to look at design of its open-worked dial.
Perrelet Divers Finally Get the “Turbine” Double Rotor
It’s been a while since Perrelet started offering a range of diving timekeepers to its loyal customers, but it is only now that the Swiss watchmaking brand decided to expand the product line-up with a model that features their outstanding, aerospace-inspired double rotor design. Oris Tubbataha Regulator is a Beautiful Monster
The limited-edition Oris Tubbataha Regulator Diver (ref. 01 749 7663 7185-Set RS) speaks the same design language as their 2011 Regulateur Der Meistertaucher (ref. 01 649 7610 7164-Set) professional diving tool. Yet, the regulator is slightly smaller, is rated for more practical water resistance, and sports a new movement based on the Sellita SW220 unit.
IWC (Somehow) Celebrates Soccer with a Big Pilot
To create this highly impressive limited edition IWC Big Pilot DFB (Deutscher Fußball-Bund / German Soccer Union, Ref. However, justifying its name, the new “aviator” is even bigger than its older siblings!
Louis Erard La Sportive BMC Edition Chronograph
Wearing the traditional black-and-red colors of the Swiss-based bike maker BMC, the new Louis Erard La Sportive Edition Limitee BMC automatic chronograph sports all the usual features that are offered by the cal. ETA Valjoux 7750-powered timekeepers and even somehow manages to look original (especially when compared to the monotonous flow of 7750-based chronos that we meet on a daily basis) and even desirable.
