Rado has officially introduced the self-winding D-Star Basel Special 2011 during the Baselworld 2011 international trade show. Produced only in 1111 pieces, this limited edition is a tribute to the iconic 1962 Rado DiaStar.

Although Nixon is mostly known for its youth-oriented, comparatively inexpensive models, their recently introduced Nixon The Ceramic 42-20 automatic diver is created with a higher price tag in mind.
Graham Chronofighter Fortress (Ref. 2CRBS.B10A)
Equipped with their signature trigger-shaped chronograph push-piece, the new Graham Chronofighter Fortress offers you that diesel-punk aesthetics that you either love or hate with all your heart.
Cuervo Y Sobrinos Historiador Retrogrado 3194.1A
The now-Swiss brand of Cuban origin has recently presented its 2011 Cuervo Y Sobrinos Historiador Retrogrado (ref. 3194.1A) that features a retrograde date display and a power reserve indicator. Still sporting the same deliberately archaic styling of its face and powered by a modified ETA caliber, the new model tries to monetize the watchmaker’s ‘colonial’ legacy and, from where I sit, is successful at that.
Concord C1 Chronograph Amethyst (ref. 0320100)
The Swiss brand has issued a “king of bling” member of its C1 Chronograph collection. Animated by an average self-winding caliber, the Concord C1 Chronograph Amethyst (ref. 0320100) is adorned with 217 amethysts totaling stunning (and quite taxing on your bank account) 13.8 carats.
Hamilton Pan Europ Chronograph H35716545
First officially revealed at Baselworld 2011, the new Hamilton Pan Europ (ref. H35716545) chronograph is a tribute to the 1971 model that was issued under the same name. No wonder why its total production run is limited to only 1971 pieces. Comparing photos of the re-issue (below) and the original from the 1970s (can’t reproduce for copyright reasons, sorry, but you can easily google one) I can see that the new timekeeper is an almost exact reproduction of the 1971 model.
