Earlier this year, Alpina has updated their product range with a number of “sporty” models that were delivered in terribly oversized bodies whole 47 millimeters in diameter. Among others, the package included the elegant Alpina Racing Small Seconds 47mm (Ref. AL-535AB5AR26). I was slow to react to the event back then, but recently I have seen them in a number of online shops (including Amazon) and now feel obliged to spread the word.

This sporty Bulgari Endurer Chronosprint (Ref. BRE56BSVDCHS) is among the latest creations of the Swiss-based watchmaking house Daniel Roth that was acquired by Bulgari about a dozen years ago and was pretty recently completely absorbed by the Italian brand. Officially presented to the world at the Baselworld 2012, the refreshed timekeeper sports the same movement and heroically proportioned body, but now features a slightly different finish to its dial.
Saint Honore Intros an Affordable Worldcode Diver
The French fashion brand Saint-Honore has finally expanded its affordable Worldcode family with a quartz-powered diver. Although the new Saint-Honore Worldcode Diving Quartz (ref. 861202 71DBN) model sports all the necessary attributes of a diver and features different finish to its highly legible dial, the family DNA is still here, which is good.
Oris Artix GT Chronograph Automatic 674 7661 4434
Oris has presented a new timekeeper that comfortably combines a nicely executed, old-fashioned chronograph with a number of trendy features. Belonging to their Artix series, it is called Oris Artix GT Chronograph (Ref. 674 7661 4434) and is not only equipped with a trendy black ceramic bezel but also features a nice linear “progress bar”-style small seconds indicator.
Bulgari Diagono Ceramic Chronograph Gets a Facelift
Preserving that familiar Diagono styling that millions of people love so much, the automatic Bulgari Diagono Ceramic Chronograph (ref. DG42BSCVDCH in ceramic and ref. DGP42BGCVDCH in rose gold) gets facelifted with an even more elegant, thinner, visually lighter bezel that also allows for more screen real estate. The part (as well as some other elements) is crafted from an extremely scratch-resistant ceramic.
Louis Erard La Sportive BMC Edition Chronograph
Wearing the traditional black-and-red colors of the Swiss-based bike maker BMC, the new Louis Erard La Sportive Edition Limitee BMC automatic chronograph sports all the usual features that are offered by the cal. ETA Valjoux 7750-powered timekeepers and even somehow manages to look original (especially when compared to the monotonous flow of 7750-based chronos that we meet on a daily basis) and even desirable.
