It came to our attention that Bell & Ross will soon start selling a new version of their BR03 model. Presented in the same stainless steel body, the 2012 BR03-90 Grande Date & Reserve de Marche now sports the well-known Soprod 9090 chronometer movement.

Doxa Splash Gent Quartz Diver (ref. 700.10R.061.20)
The new Doxa Splash Gent (ref. 700.10R.061.20) quartz diving (or, being more honest, diving-styled) wristwatch will not surprise you with a highly-complicated movement or an extreme water resistance rating. However, in these tough times, this new timekeeper may well become a nice choice for a person who simply wants to get a cool, masculine-looking timekeeper that increases one’s mojo by a magnitude of seven.
Bremont (Finally) Makes a Civilian Globemaster Chrono!
Around a year ago, on an order from U.S. military, the young British watchmaking brand has issued a special edition Bremont C-17 Globemaster watch with UTC and chronograph functionality. Supplied exclusively to Boeing C-17 Globemaster III crews stationed on American bases around the world, the watch immediately attracted the attention of numerous enthusiasts. Yielding to numerous requests from the community, the British company finally decided to introduce a civilian version. Prepare to love the new Bremont World Timer ALT1!
Hanhart Pioneer Stealth 1882 Chronograph
The 2012 Hanhart Pioneer Stealth 1882 Chronograph sports the same layout as their recent Pioneer TachyTele, but comes in a much bigger, bolder body, which is protected from accidental dents and scratches with a mean-looking black DLC treatment: a rare feature in this price range.
Linde Werdelin SpidoSpeed Anthracite DLC
Linde Werdelin, a young watchmaking brand of Scandinavian origin that builds and assembles their wristwatches in Switzerland, has just sent us a press release presenting their new take on their relatively fresh SpidoSpeed series of skeletonized chronographs.
Called Linde Werdelin SpidoSpeed Anthracite DLC, the new (or rather “refreshed”) chronograph comes with the same scratch-resistant DLC treatment that now features a new shade of, um, black. Shouldn’t they have introduced a whole new collection of DLC-treated watches and called them something like, err, Fifty Shades of Black?
Your First Swiss-Made: Certina DS1 “Double Security”
Even though Certina DS1 “Double Security” (ref. C006.407.16.088.00) offers a pretty generic design, it is a nice entry-level model for those high-school graduates still dreaming about their first dress watch with the legendary “Swiss Made” inscription on the dial, which is said to be adding at least +10 to mating abilities and +25 to personal charisma.
