Based on their current Artix GT Chronograph, this new Oris Calobra Limited Edition (Ref. 774 7661 4484) differs from the original only with a slightly cheaper Sellita SW500 movement that replaces the classic ETA 7750 work-horse, but retains the easy-to-operate ceramic rotating bezel, as well as the signature dashboard-styled subsidiary second indicator at 9 o'clock.
Girard-Perregaux has a long history of building highly refined (and often mind-blowing) wristwatches for the world's elite customers. In 2013, the brand added a nice entry to its Traveller collection. Although the Girard-Perregaux Traveller Moon Phases and Large Date (refs. 49650-11-131-BB6A, 49650-11-631-BB6A & 49650-82-231-HBBA) lacks a second time zone indicator or even a city disk (something that you often expect from a traveler's companion), it can be a nice acquisition for a proud member of a Million Miles Club.

It's been just over two months since the Swiss brand presented a limited edition of its Chronomat 41 chronograph. Now the company with the winged B in its logo presented a new version of its 44 mm automatic chronograph. Called Breitling Chronomat Frecce Tricolori 44 and limited to just 1000 pieces, it bears the emblem of the Italian Air Force aerobatic demonstration team.
Preserving its functionality and the general layout, the Ulysse Nardin Sonata Streamline (ref. 675-00) features a slightly upgraded automatic movement with a mechanical alarm module. There is also an absolutely stunning -though some may call it kitschy- exterior appearance with the satin-finished titanium accented with a glossy ceramic bezel and polished rose gold crowns and push-pieces. Yet, to many of us the most interesting part is not the color scheme or the combination of materials, but the gorgeous -both in its complexity and finish- Caliber UN-67 self-movement that the Swiss-based brand designed and manufactured at their own production facilities.
