It keeps getting better. Breitling has just released a PR blurb regarding its new vintage-style Transocean series. Equipped with their relatively fresh in-house self-winding chronograph movement, the new 2013 Breitling Transocean Chronograph GMTadds a second time zone functionality to the elegant collection making it look more complete.
I am not sure whether gender equality advocates will love this model. Compared to the original 2010 Transocean Chronograph 01 Limited Edition that was designed for men, this new Breitling Transocean Chronograph 38 Ladies is not only smaller (which is, probably, acceptable for most people), but is also equipped with a less exclusive movement, which is not made in-house, but is based on the ETA 2892-A2 blank caliber, albeit adjusted to meet strict COSC standards. And it has one sub-dial less, too!
The Swiss brand has recently reintroduced its Avenger Seawolf "professional" diver as a limited edition model. While normally available only in polished stainless steel, this new watch comes in a special, hardened steel body that, thanks to the high concentration of carbon within its surface, looks almost black.
