Delaneau Amazone Blueberries 1608

Delaneau, a fashion brand that specializes in ultra-luxury items designed for ladies, is selling its brilliant Amazone Blueberries 1608 one-off. Besides a wonderful mix of materials, textures, and colors, the new timepiece also features an unusual all-digital “interface” on its dial with the usual hour and minute hands replaced with a pair of jumping hours and minutes indicators.

Perrelet Regulator Retrograde in Titanium

Perrelet has recently updated its Regulator family with a model in a titanium case. Judging by the promotional photos that we have just received, the refreshed Regulator Retrograde in Titanium (refs. A1041/4 and A3014/5) will retain all the characteristic design elements of the collection but will bring in a more subdued, discreet color scheme with different shades of grey accented with burgundy-colored elements of the dial.

With the limited-edition 2010 King Power Ayrton Senna (ref. 719.QM.1729.NR.AES10), Hublot celebrates the 50th anniversary of the legendary Formula 1 driver and 3-times F1 world champion Ayrton Senna da Silva who died at the wheel of his car sixteen years ago at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix race. As usual, the ultra-luxury chronograph arrives in a ridiculously huge case that combines ultra-lightweight carbon fiber, scratch-resistant ceramics, and not so much good taste.

Bulgari Papillon Chronograph in rose gold

November 9, 2010

Bvlgari Papillon Chronograph in Rose Gold automatic watch (ref. BRRP46C14GLCHP)

Just like the recently unveiled Daniel Roth Grande Lune, the new Bulgari Papillon Chronograph in Rose Gold (ref. BRRP46C14GLCHP) is a refreshed and rebadged version of the original chronograph that was introduced in 2008 by Daniel Roth.

If you happened to live under the proverbial rock during the last year, then I have to inform you with the deepest regret that the Italian fashion house finally decided to completely absorb the Swiss-based brand and gradually start selling its iconic models under its own trademark. Well, there goes another legend.

Bulgari’s New Grande Lune Moonphase is A Rebadged Daniel Roth Watch

November 9, 2010

Bulgari Daniel Roth Grande Lune moonphase watch

The self-winding Bvlgari Daniel Roth Grande Lune (ref. 101845) offers unrivaled accuracy of its moonphase complication. Although now coming with an appended brand name of the Italian fashion and jewelry house, the Grande Lune delivers the familiar shape and dial decor and is still powered by the same Frederic Piguet Lepine-type hand-wound movement that was modified and decorated in-house.

Dressy and Elegant: Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 1950

November 5, 2010

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 1950 Review

At the SIHH 2011 industry event, Parmigiani Fleurier has refreshed its Tonda line with a dressy and elegant Tonda 1950 (ref. PFC267-1002400-HA1241). The timepiece was going to be presented in a perfectly balanced, flawlessly proportioned case and featured only the data that you need: hours, minutes and seconds (just to make sure that it didn’t stop all of a sudden.)
