The limited-edition Oris WilliamsF1 Team (Ref. 01 773 7685 4184-Set RS) may not only be an ultimate present for just about any F1 fan around the world. Yet, it is a nice choice if you simply look for a sporty chronograph with a modern design that doesn’t look like yet another Omega Speedmaster or a Rolex Daytona “homage”.

Tag Heuer Monaco Twenty Four Calibre 36 Chronograph
First presented back in 2009 as Monaco Twenty Four Concept, this beautiful artifact has resurfaced as Tag Heuer Monaco Twenty Four Steve McQueen Calibre 36 Chronograph (ref. CAL51111.FC6299). The time-measuring device looks almost identical to the conceptual model, but comes in a different color scheme and has the PVD-coated body swapped for a more practical (if that adjective at all can be applied to any luxury timekeeper) stainless steel case that features a nice combination of polished and finely brushed surfaces.
Omega Speedmaster 57 Two-Tone: A Beautiful Mix
Omega Speedmaster, the legendary “space” chronograph that is never getting old, has recently been reintroduced as a “two-tone” model and also slightly refreshed. Available with at least two dials and two colors of 18-karat gold alloy, the 2013 Omega Speedmaster 57 (ref. 331.22.42.51.01.001) is more in line with their current product range.

The 2013 Luminox Tony Kanaan Valjoux (Ref. A.1188) limited-edition chronograph offers a strong blend of an unusual, aggressive-looking body combined with a bullet-proof automatic movement and offered at a fairly competitive price.
Citizen Eco-Drive Military Sub-Seconds BV1085-22H
The 2013 Citizen Eco-Drive Military Sub-Seconds (Ref. BV1085-22H) updates the military-themed solar-powered family with a new, pilot-style dial. Although not looking terribly original, the new version is designed to win thousands of customers that look for a gadget that combines a slightly modernized look of a classic pilot’s watch with a high-tech Eco-Drive movement.
Alien Vibes: Seiko Speedmaster Chronograph by Giugiaro
This one is good news for numerous fans of the Alien franchise that are also into the watch-collecting business. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of their partnership with the Italian industrial designer Giorgetto Giugiaro (this gentleman of many virtues is also responsible for such works of art as the iconic DeLorean DMC-12, BMW Nazca C2, and 1972 Maserati Merak), the watchmaking branch of the Japanese brand Seiko has introduced a limited edition Seiko 30th Anniversary Speedmaster Chronograph JDM (Ref. SCED003) that looks almost like a re-issue of the famous “Bishop watch” from 1986 Aliens blockbuster.
