Next month, Frederique Constant will present its new Amour Heart Beat line that was designed by the Chinese actress Shu Qi. If the name sounds familiar, it is alright: the young actress is known for her roles in Luc Besson's blockbuster 'The Transporter' and in the sequel to the horror movie 'The Eye.'

An American-based brand Atelier Morpheus has presented its second custom-made Passagen H.R. Giger. (Indirectly) inspired by nothing less than a German garbage truck, the piece bears all the easily recognizable (although too dark for a normal person) design cues that the German industrial designer is famous for.

Marcello C will soon start selling its new Hydrox Automatik (ref. 2024.2K) diving tool. Unlike many "lifestyle divers" from more established brands that shouldn't go lower than 100 meters, this one is rated for depths of up to 300 meters and comes in a modestly sized (at least, for a diver) body, which is available both in pure stainless steel and in more visually impressive PVD-treated steel (pictured above.)

I don't know why, but the monochromatic (and stealthy) black-on-black color scheme is all the rage these days. With its Special OA All Black model, A.B.Art jumps into the "Black is the new Black" bandwagon. While many analysts consider the "bandwagon" strategy dangerous in a sense that you risk getting into the trend that is just about to make a U-turn, the fairly limited number of watches that the Swiss-based brand plans to deliver minimizes the risk of them being stuck with a bunch of unsold timekeepers.

The German brand has just presented a pair of updated versions of its dressy diver: the Archimede SportTaucher 300M Automatic.
