Seiko Prospex Marinemaster Golgo 13 Limited Edition (Ref. SBBN023) diving watch

Seiko has recently updated its family of expensive divers with a new limited-edition model. Created together with the local Shogakukan publishing company, the new Seiko Prospex Marinemaster "Golgo 13" (Ref. SBBN023) pays homage to the iconic series of manga comic books, which is centered around the eponymous character who happens to be a professional assassin.

Graham Silverstone Stowe Racing Edition Mexico

Graham Silverstone Stowe Racing Mexico Limited Edition 100 Automatic Chronograph (Ref. 2BLDC.B27A) watch

Watchmaking brands all over the civilized world (especially those that have a sporty model or two in their vast product ranges) LOVE to be associated with the high-revving world of motorsports in general and the guys that tend to win a lot of races in particular. The British watchmaker Graham is absolutely no exception here.

That's why they dedicated their new Graham Silverstone Stowe Racing Mexico Limited Edition 100 to Mr. Mario Dominguez, a Mexican racing driver that, according to Wikipedia, had competed in the CART and CCWS Champ Car series and even had his podium in the IndyCar Series back in 2008.

Breitling Chronomat 41 Offers Only Minor Tweaks

Breitling Chronomat 41 Limited Edition Automatic Chronograph watch

Breitling has recently presented yet another "limited edition" version of its flagship Chronomat 41 automatic chronograph. As is usual for the industry's big names, the guys at Breitling didn't bother employing new materials or trying some face-lifting here and there.

To an untrained eye, the new edition looks almost identical to any other Chronomat that sports a steel body matched with an onyx black dial. However, there are some minor enhancements that make this model worth a second look if you don't already happen to own one of its numerous older siblings.

Doctor’s Chronograph: Longines Telemeter L2.780.4.18

Longines Telemeter Automatic Chronograph (Ref. L2.780.4.18) watch

Playing in many different segments and delivering all kinds of styles, starting with the sporty Conquest and finishing the picture with nicely executed (and also affordable) HydroConquest divers, the Swatch Group's brand darling does an especially good job when it comes to vintage-styled timekeepers.

Their recent run of 1940's-inspired limited edition models is already in short supply, so, if you crave a similarly styled model, the new Longines Telemeter Chronograph (Ref. L2.780.4.18) may be just what the doctor ordered.

The Sporty Alpina Racing Small Seconds AL-535AB5AR26

Alpina Racing Small Seconds 47mm (Ref. AL-535AB5AR26) automatic watch

Earlier this year, Alpina has updated their product range with a number of "sporty" models that were delivered in terribly oversized bodies whole 47 millimeters in diameter. Among others, the package included the elegant Alpina Racing Small Seconds 47mm (Ref. AL-535AB5AR26). I was slow to react to the event back then, but recently I have seen them in a number of online shops (including Amazon) and now feel obliged to spread the word.

Their new Citizen Scuba Fin Eco Drive diving tool comes equipped with the "green" solar-powered quartz movement that runs for almost whole six months after being fully charged and its built-in battery never needs to be replaced. Claimed to work for as long as 20 years without losing its properties, the battery has a good chance of outliving the watch itself.

Like a Submarine: Sinn U2 Meisterbund.III 2000M

Sinn U2 Meisterbund.III 2000 Meter Diver (JDM)

The 2008 Sinn U2 Meisterbund.III is a professional-grade diver that was created exclusively for the Japanese market. The special-edition diving tool is a sort of "hybrid" that takes the best features of the German brand's bestselling models and splices them into this brilliant package. Featuring a relatively compact body crafted from a highly corrosion-resistant steel alloy used for making submarine hulls, this limited edition looks like it was inspired by nothing less than a modern nuclear submarine.

Victorinox Dive Master: 500 Meters of Water Resistance

Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master 500 43MM diving watch

The new iteration of the affordable, yet nicely designed Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master 500 family was announced back in March 2012. Rated for an impressive depth of 500 meters, recently these timekeepers started to appear in online shops around the world. Available with quartz and self-winding mechanical movements, the watch is offered in a unisex 38 mm and a more masculine 43 mm body, which is the best choice for a budget-conscious customer.
